The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas said that Regina Daniels needs help in a lengthy and explosive statement released Facebook and Instagram.
In the statement released in the early hours of Thursday, Emeka Rollas addressed the controversies involving the actress, her husband Prince Ned Nwoko, her mother Rita Daniels, and the silence of the entertainment industry.

Rollas said several senior actors were fully aware of Regina’s recent behaviour during a film shoot yet chose to remain silent while he faced public criticism.
He listed Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, and Sanni Danji as witnesses, insisting they saw troubling signs.
In his words, “You saw things firsthand, especially regarding Regina, and we all know she needs help. Your silence is unfair, and it leaves me exposed to attacks for matters I did not create.”
He also recounted an incident at the birthday celebration of Regina Daniels’ son in Abuja, where her husband, Prince Ned Nwoko, allegedly confronted her openly about smoking.
According to Rollas, the confrontation was witnessed by friends and AGN members.

He said Ned expressed concern over Regina’s habits and insisted he had involved her family because she had refused to stop.
Rollas stated, “My concern here is not to shame you. My concern is that you need help. Many of our members have gotten help before you, which the Guild was instrumental to. It is not a crime to seek support.”
He further accused some actors of speaking negatively about the situation behind the scenes while refusing to confront Regina directly, describing such behaviour as cowardly and harmful to the Guild.
The AGN President also addressed Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels criticizing her for focusing on AGN elections at a time when, according to him, her daughter’s home and health were unstable.
He said those pushing her to contest for AGN President were “enemies” of the Guild.
Rollas said, “If your daughter’s home and health is in distress, AGN elections should not be your priority. When leaders justify harmful habits as ‘a celebrity lifestyle,’ it puts younger members at risk.”
Addressing Senator Prince Ned Nwoko he stated that a man of his status should not take private family matters to social media.
Rollas argued that the senator’s public outbursts worsened the situation and contributed to the misunderstandings surrounding the Guild.
He said the narratives claiming Ned Nwoko funded AGN were misleading.

While Regina and her mother allegedly told people the senator donated ₦200 million to the Guild, Rollas clarified that Ned himself had said the money was for his wife’s film project, not AGN.
Rollas added that he had been left to carry the burden of correcting the misinformation.
He said, “The misinformation circulating everywhere is part of the burden I’m carrying, trying to explain ₦200 million. You should have let people know it’s money you gave to your wife for her film production and not to the Guild.”
Rollas also used the statement to call out the Board of Trustees (BOT) for refusing to support him publicly despite knowing the truth about recent controversies.
He accused them of hiding behind him while he absorbed the heat.
He defended his achievements in office, noting that he remains the only AGN President to conduct elections as scheduled and to successfully convene national congresses twice, in Uyo and Benin, without financial help from the BOT or external sponsors. He declared that the December convention date remains unchanged and warned against any attempt to disrupt the transition process.
He said, “I shall resist any person or group of persons who will rise up tomorrow with any attempt to truncate the transition process with a flimsy excuse of tenure elapse.”
Rollas concluded by saying he had remained silent for too long while his name was dragged through fabricated narratives. He said he was now speaking to protect his legacy and dignity before leaving office.
He said, “People keep dragging my name, and the silence of stakeholders is not helping matters. I have carried many burdens quietly for years, but I will not allow false accusations to stain my legacy.”
He ended the statement by warning that no one should contact him privately about the matter, saying he had spoken his truth and would exit office with his integrity intact.
