See Valuables Dude Lost To Robbery Suspects In Delta

A dude has lost his car containing Iphone 12 Pro (valued at N600, 000) Oppo phone valued at N195, 000, two gold chains (valued N380, 000) and Apple series wristwatch (valued N150 000) to armed robbery suspects in Delta State.

The incident occurred on January 17, 2022 at about 10:00p.m along Udu road in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The dude, whose name could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, reportedly made a distress call to the police at Enerhen Police Station after he was robbed of his car.

The victim was reportedly sitting in his black Toyota Camry car with Reg. No. WWR457LS, Chassis No. 4T1BE46KX8U775688 and Engine No. 2AZ9070187 at Thermocool premises opposite Ecobank, Udu road when some hoodlums double crossed him with a custom colour Highlander jeep.

They pointed a gun at him and forcefully robbed him of his car containing the items earlier listed.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Delta Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, while confirming the incident in a statement, said the DPO of Enerhen Division who received the call detailed some detectives to investigate the incident.

According to him, the detectives discovered that the vehicle was abandoned at Orhuwhorun in Ovwian-Aladja area of Udu LGA.

He said the armed robbery suspects had swiftly replaced the vehicle’s number plate with another – Reg. No. TDU269AA and made away with all the valuables in the car.

Edafe, however, noted that having recovered the vehicle without the valuables intact, efforts were ongoing to arrest the hoodlums.

Meanwhile, a Toyota Haice bus with two occupants was intercepted by olice operatives attached to Sapele Division while on stop-and-search duty on Thursday.

This was disclosed by PPRO Edafe.

He said four master keys, suspectedly used for stealing parked vehicles, were recovered and two suspects arrested in connection with the incident.
