Suspected Cultist Arrested In Attempt To Buy AK-47

OPERATIVES of Delta State Police Command have arrested a suspected cultist identified as Amadasu Victor while attempting to buy an AK-47 rifle in the state.

This was made known in a video made available to Stonix News by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

Its starts with bad friends, then migrate to internet fraud, cultism, aquiring of arms, and finally when yahoo stop paying, they migrate to kidnapping and armed robbery. He said he belonged to vikings confraternity and was vying for number 1 position and the condition to get the position is to own an AK-47 rifle. He was arrested while negotiating to buy lne AK-47 rifle for #1,300,000 naira.

In the video, DSP Edafe was narrating how the suspect was arrested in a motel while negotiating the price of the rifle which was N1.3m.

The suspect, a member of the Viking Confraternity, said that he was asked to buy the rifle because it was one of the requirements for becoming number one in the confraternity.

In the video, he told SP Edafe that he was into an Internet fraud and that he makes his money by deceiving old White women by making them believe that he loves them and he would visit them and in return, they’d send him money.

He also disclosed that he has been a member of the Viking Confraternity for six years.

“I was arrested because I wanted to buy AK-47. I was asked to buy the rifle because I was vying for the position of number one in the Vikings Confraternity. I was arrested in my motel while negotiating to buy the rifle.

“I have a car wash I manage and I am also into Internet fraud. I am into yahoo. I deceive old women and white women in the internet that I love them and that I am coming to meet them.

“The highest I have made from them is eight million naira and I share it with people that connect me. I have been in the cult for six years.

“There is no gain of being a cultist,” the suspect said.

Making a remark on the arrested, Edafe quipped:

“It (criminality) starts with bad friends; then migrate to internet fraud, cultism, acquiring of arms, and finally when yahoo (internet scam) stop paying, they migrate to kidnapping and armed robbery.
