Other prices on the list included correction of name (N30,000), correction of gender (N30,000), confirmation of result – international – (N39,000), sealed scratch card (13,000), and confirmation of result – local – (N19,500), among others.
The examination body, while reacting to the publication via a post shared on their official X page on Wednesday, September 27, referred to the document as “Fake News.”
The body also noted that, making changes on date of birth was prohibited.
“Please note that this document did not emanate from WAEC-Nigeria. The Council still does not entertain requests for date of birth amendment,” the statement read.
Recall that in 2021, WAEC jacked up its registration fee from N13,950 to N18,000 owing to the rising inflation in the country.
