A staff of Prudential Zenith Life Insurance Plc, Nnamdi Godson Nwokorie, was, on Sunday, found dead in an alleged suicidal circumstance in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

The deceased, from his Facebook profile, showed that he worked with Prudential Zenith Life Insurance Plc said to be incorporated and registered in England and Wales.
Nwokorie, whose parents appear to be living in Benin, Edo State, was resident in Ugbeyiyi, Sapele before he was found dead on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Nnamdi, rumoured to be planning for his wedding this year, was said to have hanged himself on a water tank scaffold.
His last post with three personal photos on Facebook was on Saturday, January 15, 2022, where the usually-cheerful Nnamdi hinted that he was going through hard times.

“I no longer have a mind of my own. Cos I now do things I later regret. The struggle is not funny any more.
“I am still good at heart so u know,” he had posted without his Facebook friends knowing evil was lurking in his mind.

His penultimate post was December 30, 2021, where he had wished a “sugar girl” happy birthday, by sharing a 2018 December 30 memory in which he likewise wished the lady a happy birthday.
Further glean into his Facebook profile by Stonix News revealed that the deceased was born September 24 and did his NYSC service between 2017 and 2018, April 12.

He had posted on that date thus: “Finally it’s time to call it a day. God made it possible.#POP #Donendusted#Hellofuture #Godisstilldgreatest”
On August 15, 2020 the deceased was home taking pictures with his father and mother which he posted with this comment: “Parents like no other. I u both stick around much longer lemme me spoil u like no man’s business. I LOVE U both.”

On August 18, 2020 in yet another post, Nnamdi went commercial by dropping a PR on behalf of his employer this: Can your company care more like mine? We don’t only provide insurance cover for our clients, but we live up to our promises.”

He went ahead to add: “#PrudentialZenithLifeInsurance: We even provide cover against the dreaded COVID-19. Trust us for ur life insurance cover as well as investment.”
Young and handsome Nnamdi’s hope for a better life was upbeat when in January 24, 2021 he quipped: “It’s a new beginning. We are positive we are going to survive this stormy period.”

Stonix News‘ enquiry from the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, on Sunday was in the affirmative that he committed suicide, perhaps given the state his body was reportedly found.
