FOLLOWERS of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky on Tuesday staged a peaceful march in Katsina, decrying the worsening insecurity in the region following the recent abductions of schoolchildren in Kebbi and Niger states.

The protesters urged the Federal Government to act swiftly to secure the release of the kidnapped pupils and to strengthen protection for civilians across northern communities.

Placards and Chants calling for peace and decisive action echoed throughout the procession, as participants appealed for urgent measures to halt the wave of attacks affecting schools and rural populations.
