4 Killed During Shooting

Micheal Chukwuebuka, Reporting

FOUR people were killed during a shooting in New Jersey, and the suspected gunman, according to authorities, is believed to be among the deceased.

Reports reaching Stonix News confirmed that operatives from Linden Police Department responded to a distress call on Sunday morning in Union County, where two adults and a juvenile were found dead.

The juvenile was rushed to Newark University Hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead.

Linden Police Department officer, Capt. Christopher Guenther, said in a statement that the shooter is believed to be among the deceased, and there is no further threat to the public.

New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, during a news conference on Sunday afternoon, described the violence as ‘horrific’.

“This is an ongoing investigation with many questions to be answered.

“Linden is a strong community and we will support them however possible as they mourn and recover,” part of his statement reads.
