ACE music maestro and broadcaster, Yinka Ayefele says his little kids are asking him why he cannot stand up and walk like others do.
“My children always want me to stand up and they keep asking me everyday why I cannot,” he posted on the social media.
In a video sighted by Stonix News, the gospel minstrel was put on the spot by the kids.
He was heard narrating to them how he became reduced to his wheelchair.
“..I had an accident. It’s been long. It was a motor accident. It was on December 12, 1997, towards Christmas,” he attempted to narrate.
One of the kids expressed some sadness as Ayefele makes further attempts to let them have details of the tragedy. And Ayefele asked the kid: “you’re not happy because I cannot walk?” The kid was heard saying an emphatic “yes!”
He went further to assure the kids that he would still walk, asking the kid, “you want me to walk?” and the kids answering “yes!”
One of the kids went further to ask if his father was riding a bicycle when a vehicle rammed on him to which Ayefele said he was the one driving when he had the accident.
“The road was slippery so that’s how my car tumbled like six times and ended in a pit.
