POPULAR Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IVD, was arrested on Friday, August 1, at a Nigerian airport while attempting to board a flight to Qatar.
Sources close to the development revealed that the arrest is linked to the ongoing court case involving the death of his late wife, Bimbo. The case, which centers around allegations of domestic violence, is still being heard in court.
IVD
As part of the legal restrictions, IVD is reportedly barred from traveling outside the country until the conclusion of the trial.
He is expected to remain in custody until Monday, August 4, when he is scheduled to be formally arraigned.
Blessing CEO and IVD
The arrest has been confirmed by social media personality Blessing CEO, who is romantically linked to IVD. Sources indicate she is currently making efforts to secure his release.
