THE body of Bamise Ayanwola, who was allegedly raped and murdered after boarding a bus in Lekki, Lagos, has been buried today, Friday 16th of December, 2022

Stonix News recalled that in February 2022, Bamise Ayanwola, on her way to Oshodi, boarded a bus belonging to the Bus Rapid Transport scheme (BRT) at Chevron area of Lekki.
Burial procession
She went missing, but with the help of security agencies in the state, her body was found just few days after her family announced her sudden disappearance, which led to the arrest of a BRT driver, Mr Andrew Ominnikoron, who is now facing counts of rape, conspiracy and murder over the death of Bamise.

She was buried at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
