A 4-year-old has been confirmed dead after authorities found the child unresponsive in a pool at an apartment complex in west Harris County on Monday.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, at about 7:23 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 1721 Greenhouse Road in reference to a drowning call.
According to ABC 13 Houston , the child was with family members in the complex pool when the 4-year-old went under water.
Stonix News reliably gathered that about 15 to 20 people were in the pool when the incident took place.
Authorities said the child was taken to the hospital and received CPR from EMS crews.
An investigation is currently underway to figure out what happened.
