(+VIDEO) Fayose Undergoes Two Major Surgeries In Five Months – Aide

Ola ‘Kiya, Reporting

Former governor of Ekiti State and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Peter Fayose has undergone two major surgeries in five months.

This was disclosed by Lere Olayinka, his media aide on his Twitter handle with a terse note and a nine-second video late Tuesday night.

The former governor in an undisclosed hospital in the video is seen being aided to a chair by medical personnel.

It was reported that the two-term governor just had a surgery on his back.

He had first undergone a neck surgery in February, making it the second major surgery performed on him in the space of five months, in 2022.

Olayinka, in his post, alleged that Fayose’s present medical condition is the result of the brutal attack on him during the 2018 governorship election in Ekiti State.

Stonix News recalled that Mr. Fayose, in an interview during the 2018 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, had alleged that he was assaulted by security operatives deployed for the election.

The former governor, who wore a neck brace and held an arm sling was seen then shedding tears, saying “I am in severe pain” over the alleged beating he received from security operatives.
