Bodies Of Two Yet-To-Be-Identified Men Who Drowned At Beach Recovered

THE bodies of two yet to be identified men who drowned while trying to rescue another man from drowning at the Baracuda beach, have been recovered.

Stonix News learnt that the tragic incident occurred on 26th of December, at the Abraham Adesanya area of Ajah, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Bodies Recovered

The Permanent Secretary of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency ( LASEMA ), Dr Femi Oke-Osanyintolu confirmed the incident in a statement.

Baracuda Beach

“Further investigation gathered revealed that two adult male were trying to rescue an adult male from drowning before the high tide of the ocean drowned the two adult male.

Bodies Recovered

“In addition, the life guard at the beach reported that the victims swam beyond the red line which wasn’t safe for them to engage on the rescue.

“However, the agency’s LRT and Paramedics are on ground. Search and rescue operation ongoing, ” he said
