Traditional ruler of Iseyin , Oyo State, Oba Abdulganiyu Salawudeen, has joined his ancestors. He was aged 62.
This is coming some months after Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi, Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji,
Asigangan of Iganga and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi passed.
The Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Salawudeen, was a University of Ibadan-trained veterinary doctor.
Stonix News gathered that the Aseyin, who ascended the throne in 2007, reportedly died at the University College Hospital (UCH) where he was said to have been receiving medical attention for months.
It was further gathered that the late king is being taken to his town – a journey less than one hour from Ibadan, the state capital.
It was further gathered that traditionalists have begun the rites of passage around the ancient town.
