B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: Former Abia Gov Ogbonnaya Onu Passes

THE first civilian governor of Abia State and former Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, has passed.

A source close to the deceased told Tribune Online that the former governor passed after a brief illness in an undisclosed hospital in Nigeria.

Stonix News reports that the 72-year-old former governor of old Abia State, during the 2023 general elections, was a presidential aspirant of the All Progressive Congress (APC) but lost to Ahmed Tinubu.
