TOP chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Dr Cairo Ojougboh has passed while watching Wednesday night’s semi final match between Nigeria and South Africa.
Stonix News reports that the pulsating match saw the Super Eagles triumphing over the Bafana Bafana 4-2 via penalties.
Dr Ojougboh was said to be engrossed, watching the live match between the two arch rivals.
It was gathered that in the course of the match, a penalty was awarded against Nigeria and as soon as the South Africa team scored the penalty, Dr. Ojougboh screamed and then slumped.
Sadly, he, thereafter, passed with the cause of his death yet unknown.
No official statement from his family or the APC in the state as of the time of filing the report.
Stonix News reports that Ojougboh was a former member of the House of Representatives, Ika Federal Constituency.
