NO fewer than six people are still missing after a massive house fire engulfed a Pennsylvania residence where authorities were responding to an emergency call.

During a press briefing Wednesday, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer told reporters that while officials were responding to the home on Wednesday afternoon, officers were immediately met by gunfire.

Stollsteimer further stated that during the incident, the house became engulfed in flames while shots were still being fired from the home.

Stonix News reliably gathered that there is a family living in the home, including children.

Police will continue to search for bodies and evidence Thursday morning since the house was still burning as of Wednesday night.

According to Stollsteimer, two male officers, who were with the East Lansdowne and Lansdowne police departments, each sustained a single gunshot wound.

They were pulled from the scene to safety by responding officers from the Upper Darby Police Department.

The injured officers, according to Stollsteimer, are in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Reports from our source, ABC News, stated that a 911 caller reported that an 11-year-old girl had been shot at the residence in East Lansdowne.

Upon arrival and due to the flames, officers could not enter the residence to determine if the shooter is still alive or if there were any other occupants.

Infact, according to Stollsteimer, it was unclear if an 11-year-old had been shot.

“We are still actively investigating the scene,” Stollsteimer said.
