Suspected Fulani militants stormed the community around 10:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, killing eight persons including four children and a teenager, all said to be members of a family.

An eight-month-old baby, who was injured in the attack, later died in the hospital on Monday morning.
Among those injured was the five-month-old baby boy whose hand was amputated by the gunmen, Punch reports.
Meanwhile, SaharaReporters had reported that the lawmaker representing Jos South/Jos Federal Constituency of Plateau State in the House of Representatives, Abuja Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos said he had signed an impeachment notice to remove Buhari as president while lamenting Sunday’s terrorist attack in his community.
Bagos, who is the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Anti-Corruption, was present at the mass burial of the seven victims at Danda Village on Monday where he described the act as inhumane.
He described the cold-blooded killing of his constituents by bandits as “callous”.
He said, “This incident has raised concerns over the readiness of security agencies to tackle once and for all the gorilla style of killing which has been incessant in my constituency and Plateau State, intelligent reports have it that the attackers had sent signal before now and no action was taken on the part of the security agency to curtail it, this is sad,” Bagos said.
“I am angry and enraged by the daily killing within and around my constituency. I want to state emphatically, that I will continue to talk about these callous attitudes of known criminals amongst us until they are all gotten rid of finally, everybody has the right to defend himself, I want to urge my constituents to defend themselves enough if enough of these barbaric and dastardly killings.”
