By THE Great Idjerhe Kingdom is set to celebrate the 4th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, King Obukohwo Monday Arthur Whiskey Udurhie I, PhD, the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, from the 8th to the 10th of November 2024.
The special three-day event will bring together the sons, daughters, and friends of the kingdom for a series of traditional ceremonies.
The celebration will kick off on Friday, 8th November 2024, with a procession of blessings through the major streets of Otorho Idjerhe.
During this period, all stores and businesses are required to remain closed.
Following the procession, homage will be paid to the King by various groups, including Idjerhe natives, families, friends, churches, and other associations.
On Saturday, 9th November 2024, King Whiskey will confer chieftaincy titles on deserving individuals from within and outside the kingdom in recognition of their contributions.
The grand-finale will take place on Sunday, 10th November 2024, with a special thanksgiving service and reception of dignitaries at the palace ground in Otorho Idjerhe.
In accordance with tradition, no ceremonies or festivities will be permitted in the kingdom during the anniversary period.
