Jimmy Carter Makes History, Clocks 100 Years On Earth

Micheal Chukwuebuka, Reporting

JIMMY Carter, a former US president and Nobel Peace Prize-winning humanitarian, has made history, becoming the first-ever president to clock 100 years on earth.

Stonix News reports that Carter, who served as the 39th president from 1977 to 1981, is now the longest-living former president in US history.

Recall that Carter has been in hospice care since February last year after years-long health challenges, which included a cancer diagnosis.

His wife, Rosalynn Carter, died in November 2023 at 77. Her funeral in their hometown of Plains, Georgia, was Jimmy Carter’s last public appearance.
