JUST IN: Jonathan’s Former Chief of Staff, Arogbofa, Passes

A retired Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army, Jones Oladeinde Arogbofa, who served as Chief of Staff to former President Goodluck Jonathan has passed.

He reportedly passed on Saturday morning at the age of 72 amid scanty details, TheNewsGuru says.

Arogbofa was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1973 and became Chief of Staff to former President Jonathan from 10 February 2014 to 29 May 2015.

He was an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Alabama, United States Army Command and General Staff College, University of Lagos, and the University of Ibadan.

Until his death, Arogbofa was the chairman of the Center for Research, Information Management and Media Development (CRIMMD).

He was born November 10, 1952, in Oka-Akoko, Ondo State.
