Scores of suspected thugs were, at the wee hours of Wednesday, arrested by soldiers while on their way to Ekiti State for a yet-to-be-disclosed mission.
The suspected thugs loaded in commercial buses, were allegedly armed with brand new machetes, arms and charms.
Sources said they were caught at about 3:00a.m on Wednesday by vigilant soldiers at Ita Awure/Efon Junction in Ekiti.
As of the time of filing the report, the soldiers were said to be moving the about 150 armed suspected thugs to the Army Barracks in Akure, Ondo State.
No official statement has been issued either from the Nigerian Army or the Nigeria Police.
