OPERATIVES of the Delta State Police Cammand have nabbed two suspects identified as Ofemu Obus and Henry Ekpu for allegedly defrauding Point Of Sales (POS) operators with fake alerts.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, the suspects were arrested by the Command’s Raiders Squad on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
The statement also added that while on a stop-and-search exercise, intercepted a Daylong motorcycle carrying two passengers along Warri-Sapele road by Okwuvo Okpe Local Government Area of the State on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
During the search, three phones, an Iphone, an Infinix and a Nokia, were found on the occupants of the vehicles and in the process of questioning, it was discovered that the phones were stolen.
The two suspects were later identified as John Francis ‘m’ age 26yrs and Godsent Orogun ‘m’, age 25yrs according to the statement.
In the same vein, operatives of CP.-Decoy squad recovered a locally-made Barretta Pistol and a Samsung phone from a Toyota Sienna conveying suspected armed robbers around Oduke-Okwe axis of Asaba.
