TEXAS police are investigating the murder of a cheerleader who was, according to her family, found dead by her mother in their home’s bathtub earlier this week.
The deceased, Lizbeth Medina, 16, a student and cheerleader at Edna High School, was raised by a single mother, Jacqueline Medina.
Lizbeth had always wanted to be a nurse, according to her aunt, Ana Medina, but those dreams were cut short on Tuesday evening, when her mother came home to Cottonwood Apartments and found her lying unconsciously in their bathtub.
Stonix News gathered that her mother called 911, but police arrived to find her daughter, Lizbeth, already dead.
“Lizbeth was getting ready to go to school; she was still in her pajamas.
“We have no information right now about anything. We just want answers,” her aunt said.
Although patrols in the area has been increased, but so far, no suspect has been identified by the police yet.
