Friends and colleagues have taken to Social Media to mourn the demise of Ubiri Jennifer, the Vice President, National Union of Urhobo Students (NUUS), Worldwide.
Stonix News gathered that Jennifer, a fresh Accounting graduate of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), was involved in a fatal car accident on Monday, June 20, 2022 while on her way to Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It was also gathered that the driver and an unspecified number of passengers also lost their lives in the fatal motor accident.
The sad incident was made public on Facebook by friends of the deceased, who described her as strong, ambitious and hardworking, lamenting her inability to claim her certificate after all the sacrifices she had made.
“Onome so sad you’ve left this world with all the kindness in your heart.
“Your place is irreplaceable, the memory of you is inexhaustible.
“After 5 years of struggle, pains and hard work in Uniport, you’ve left without holding the certificate.
“The news of your death has pierced me so deep knowing how strong, ambitious and hardworking you were you surely deserve more years and not this.
“May you continue to rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty.
“You will forever live in my broken heart Onome,” one Wisdom Dukori posted.
Another friend, Ovotu Rufus, said: “She had accident on her way back to Port-Harcout after few hours I helped her transfer her voters card from Rivers State to Delta State. After all your efforts at Uniport, we couldn’t congratulate you with your certificate.
“We Love You, but God Loves you most. Rest in Peace Oniemo Nuus.”
Vivian Okonkwo wrote: “Ah Jenny my baby Ah!! Jenny this one shake me! o do i even know how to write condolence messages?
“So i won’t see you again? Jenny after everything we suffered in uniport you couldn’t even wait to wear the NYSC uniform that we‘ve really talked about.
“Rest easy my baby. may the Good lord take care of you my sweet Jenny.”
