Security Agencies Conduct Joint Route Match

SECURITY agencies, comprising the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police and others, have conducted a joint route match as a way of enhancing synergy and cordial relationship in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The match, which was part of the physical exercise conducted by the 2 Division Nigerian Army, 671 Nigerian Airforce Detachment, the Nigeria Police Force and other security/paramilitary agencies, was conducted on Friday, November 25, 2022.

The representative of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Nsikak Edet, applauded the turnout and the zeal exhibited by the various agencies.

According to him, the exercise will not only enable members of the security agencies to keep fit, but will enhance and build more synergy, cooperation and collaboration amongst the agencies.

Brigadier General Edet said the exercise will hence forth be conducted regularly and enjoined the participating agencies to further improve on their turn out in the next exercise.

The agencies that participated in the exercise include, 2 Division Nigerian Army Ibadan, 671 Nigerian Airforce Detachment, the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp.

Available also was the Department of State Security, Nigeria Custom Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correction Service, Federal Road Safety Corp, Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, National Park Service, Amotekun Security Network and members of the National Youth Service Corps.
