MINISTER of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike has declared that President Bola Tinubu has no reason to fear losing public support, insisting that the administration’s performance speaks for itself.
Speaking during an event in Abuja, Wike argued that good governance remains the key factor that determines whether leaders are returned to office, expressing confidence that the Tinubu administration has made a visible impact, particularly in the FCT.
According to him, the President should “sleep with both eyes closed,” dismissing concerns about opposition criticism and public demonstrations.
Wike challenged residents of the FCT to honestly assess the government’s performance, maintaining that the presence and impact of the administration can be seen across the territory.
“I challenge everybody in this FCT who can come out to say we don’t have the impact, we don’t feel the presence of government,” Wike boasted.
Wike maintained that the government’s achievements would ultimately earn it the confidence of voters.
