Tell Super Eagles We’re Not Happy, Nyesom Charges Yobo Joseph

Political Brawl Erupts: Makinde Labels Wike 'Vagabond' In Fierce PDP Power Struggle

MINISTER of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday charged former Nigerian international, Yobo Joseph to tell the Super Eagles that Nigerians are not happy.

‎The visibly unhappy minister gave the errand during the inauguration of the Kuje – Gwagwalada dual carriage road phase 1 at the FCT.

‎Nyesom expressed disappointment wherein lesser footballing nations qualified for the mundial and Nigeria could not.

‎Acknowledging that there are over 13 Nigerians representing various countries at the mundial, the former governor wondered why the Super Eagles squandered the opportunity of qualifying for the world cup.

‎”We’re not happy with the Super Eagles. Thank God you are here. Yobo, please tell them we’re not happy.

‎”We watch other countries who have never been to the World Cup before playing and our own Super Eagles are not there.

‎”Though we have about 13 Nigerians playing for other countries, our own Super Eagles are not there.

‎”Yobo, please tell them we’re not happy. We’re not happy, ” Nyesom noted amid cheers from the gathering.

‎Stonix News reports that the Super Eagles lost out to the Bafana Bafana in the same group during the qualifiers.
