BEFORE she took her own life, 20-year-old Favour Agbro from Warri had recorded what she describes as her final video message, alleging that a popular content creator, Odogwu of Asaba, is responsible for her death and naming him for the world to avenge her death.
In the distressing footage, Favour claims she travelled to Asaba to meet the man she knew online as “Odogwu Asaba” after he offered to help her with financial problems, but insists they never discussed sex before her journey.
According to Favour’s account, she first contacted the man online on a Monday in April after telling him she was facing family difficulties and needed money.
She said she had confided in him that another man in Abuja had offered to help but wanted sex in return, and she was seeking his advice.
”He said I should not go. Even without me telling him, I would have still not gone to that Abuja,” she said in the video.
Favour claimed she informed him she was a virgin—not as an invitation, but to unburden herself. She said he responded by inviting her to Asaba for Friday, promising to help without any sexual conditions.
”He did not tell me to come so that he will sleep with me and he is going to give me the amount of money I want. He just told me, can you come to Asaba on Friday? I will help you,” she recounted.
She said the man sent transport fare, and she travelled without her parents’ knowledge, only informing her twin sister and providing the man’s phone number in case anything happened.
Upon arrival, they visited his shop before going to a carwash and then to a hotel. Favour admitted she initially felt safe because she believed his public profile would deter any misconduct.
”In my mind, I was thinking that he won’t do anything to me because he is a popular person and he won’t want anyone to drag him online and that was where my mistake came from,” she said.
Favour stated that her phone was on disappearing mode, meaning she had no screenshots of their conversations, though she believes his phone would still contain records.
She named the man as “Odogwu Asaba” and provided a location—Akpanam Road by Hipton Hotel—where he allegedly operates a boutique.
She also mentioned that he runs a sales line called “Obozonu and Chioma.”
Favour concluded the video by declaring: “I’m already dead and the cause of my death is Odogwu Asaba.”
Recall that Stonix News had earlier reported the arrest of the suspect, Odogwu of Asaba, who’s now cooling off at the Delta State Police Command in Asaba.
Meanwhile, Stonix News has sighted another footed on the Facebook page of Comrade Israel Joe, where he’s seen on his knees begging the twin sister of gbe deceased pleasing for forgiveness.
