OTA, Ogun State — The General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, made a surprise appearance at the ongoing Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Ota, Ogun State, on Saturday.
Oyedepo’s unexpected presence at the crusade, organised by the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Pastor William F. Kumuyi, drew excitement among worshippers and residents attending the programme.
The Ota edition of the GCK began on Wednesday, August 26, and is scheduled to continue until Sunday, August 30, with Christian faithful gathering for worship, prayers, salvation and spiritual renewal.
The appearance of Oyedepo, who leads one of Nigeria’s largest Pentecostal denominations, added significance to the gathering and brought together two prominent figures in the country’s Christian community.
The opening sessions of the crusade have featured worship, prayers, preaching and testimonies, with participants reporting experiences of spiritual renewal and personal breakthroughs.
The convergence of Oyedepo and Kumuyi at the programme has generated excitement among residents of Ota and neighbouring communities, with many describing the development as a notable moment for the city and Ogun State.
Organisers have continued to encourage residents and Christian faithful in Ota, Ogun State and surrounding communities to participate in the remaining sessions of the crusade.
The programme is expected to conclude on Sunday, August 30.
