A 50-year-old woman, Olusola Olonode, has shared her testimony of becoming a mother of quadruplets after getting married at the age of 48.
Olonode gave the testimony during the September Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption City of God, recounting what she described as a divine intervention in her life.
According to her, she was married in December 2023 at the age of 48, after being single for several years.
She said she conceived during the period of the previous convention and went for a scan around September, where a doctor initially suspected that she was carrying twins.
“I think I can see twins,” the doctor told her, according to Olonode.
She said she welcomed the news, adding that even one baby would have been enough to end the teasing she had received about becoming a mother.
Olonode, however, returned for another scan a month later and was told by another doctor at the same hospital that he believed she was carrying three babies.
She said she later experienced bleeding and had to undergo another scan, during which the same doctor examined her.
“I think I am seeing four,” the doctor reportedly told her.
Olonode said she was surprised by the development, particularly as she had initially been told she might be carrying twins.
She said she has now been blessed with four babies — two boys and two girls — at the age of 50.
“Today, to the glory of God, I am here with the babies, two boys and two girls, at the age of 50. Praise the Lord,” she said.
The testimony drew praise from worshippers at the Holy Ghost Service as she celebrated what she described as a remarkable turnaround in her journe y to motherhood.
