VETERAN Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs has passed at the age of 84.
The actor’s son, Olu Jacobs Jnr, announced the sad news on Instagram on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
According to the actor’s son, his father died today after “a life well lived and fought.”
He also called on all bloggers and social media influencers to respect the family’s privacy at this sad time.
Sharing his late father’s photograph, Jacobs Junior wrote: “It is with gratitude to God for a life well lived and fought that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and uncle. The Lion of Lufodo.
