A Taraba-based woman, Faith Philip, has stirred debate after advising married women to remain with their husbands despite infidelity, arguing that a cheating husband is preferable to a dead one.
Ms Philip shared the advice in a Facebook post on Friday, 25 September, urging married women to stay with their husbands and preserve their families despite the challenges they may face in their marriages.
According to her, women should consider the value of having their husbands alive, even when they are unfaithful.
“Dear married women, stay with your husband and family no matter what — a cheating husband is better than a dead husband. Good morning, understanding wives,” she wrote
The post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some users agreeing with her stance on keeping families together, while others argued that infidelity should not be excused under any circumstances.
