THE Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Victory Centre Uganda HQ has successfully held its special “Sunday Healing & Health Thanksgiving Service,” which saw over 90 people from both Christian and Muslim backgrounds receiving free medical care and counselling.

The event, which was the 3rd edition of its kind, took place last Sunday July 26 at the church’s headquarters on Kisugu Road in Namuwongo.

This year’s theme was “Prosperity in Health,” drawing inspiration from the biblical scripture 3 John 2: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Ministering at the service was Pastor Olushola Emmanuel Orimogunje, during which the event offered a holistic approach to well-being, addressing both spiritual and physical health needs.

Over 90 attendees, who benefited from a comprehensive range of free medical services, expressed gratitude to the church for meeting both their physical and spiritual health needs.

The free medical services rendered to the beneficiaries included:
· Screening: Free checks for blood sugar (glucose), blood pressure, malaria, Hepatitis B & C, and eye examinations. Basic health metrics such as height and weight were also recorded.

· Consultation: Free medical consultations with professionals, alongside specialised counselling for those dealing with depression or marital issues.

· Treatment & Support: Attendees received free dental checks, reading glasses, and essential medications including antimalarial drugs, pain relievers, antihypertensive, and antidiabetic drugs where applicable.

Admission to the event was free, and organisers extended an open invitation to everyone, encouraging them to bring their families and friends.
