HENRY Okoye, the elder brother of P-Square’s Peter and Paul Okoye, has spoken about the ongoing family feud, accusing Jude Okoye of contributing to the strained relationship among the siblings.
Speaking in an interview, Henry described Jude as a bad person and alleged that he has caused division within the family.
According to him, Peter and Paul used to check on him, but Jude had never called to ask how he was doing. He also alleged that Jude does not care about other members of the family, including their sister, whom he said is currently in Lagos and struggling without adequate support.
He further alleged that Jude was not present when the family initially started building P-Square but later became involved and attempted to push people away from Peter and Paul.
Henry also claimed that he invested in P-Square’s career, growth and development and was promised 20 per cent from each of their songs when they started out, but alleged that he never received the money.
“They promised me 20% for each music. Nobody have given me. After two, three, four years, I asked them but Jude was against it despite putting money into their career, growth and development,” he said.
Henry also revealed that another of their brothers, Tony, whom he identified as one of P-Square’s dancers, is in Lagos but remains largely unknown to the public.
When asked if he wanted the siblings to reconcile, Henry said he would be happy to see the family come back together, although he expressed doubts that it would happen.
