NUJ Delta Hails Dr. Paul Bebenimibo As ‘Man Of Integrity, Wisdom, Humility’ On Birthday

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, has extended warm birthday greetings to Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, praising him as an “illustrious journalist, accomplished administrator, and distinguished ambassador of the union”.

Dr. Bebenimibo, who serves as the Registrar of the Maritime University, Okerenkoko, was celebrated by the union’s leadership in a statement released on Wednesday, which described him as “a man of integrity, wisdom, humility, and uncommon dedication to service”.

In the felicitation message signed by Comrade Churchill Oyowe, Chairman of NUJ Delta State Council, and Comrade Josephine Omodior, Acting Secretary, the union noted that Dr. Bebenimibo “has continued to distinguish himself through exemplary service, professional excellence, and uncommon commitment to the advancement of education and national development”.

The statement further observed that his “remarkable achievements have brought pride not only to the institution he serves but also to the journalism profession”.

The NUJ Delta leadership highlighted Dr. Bebenimibo’s longstanding support for the union, stating: “Over the years, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo has remained a dependable friend and steadfast supporter of the NUJ at the chapel, state, and national levels.”

The union added: “His readiness to identify with the aspirations of the union and extend support whenever called upon speaks volumes about his generosity, loyalty, and deep-rooted commitment to the welfare and progress of journalists.”

As the registrar marks another year, the NUJ prayed for “continued good health, greater accomplishments, divine favour, and many more years of impactful service to humanity”.

The message concluded with a direct birthday salute: “Happy Birthday, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo.”
