JUST IN: Kidnapped Sister of Ex-Minister, Twin Sons Rescued (+VIDEO)

OPERATIVES of the Nigeria Police Force have successfully rescued Mrs Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, following a dramatic late-night operation on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Reports say the rescue took place at approximately 7:30pm, after a fierce gun battle between police operatives and the suspects.

Stonix News gathered that two kidnappers were neutralised during the exchange, with two firearms recovered from the scene.

Mrs John-Paul, the younger sister of former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, and her twin boys had been abducted three days earlier on June 3, 2026, while driving the children to school.

Police sources said sustained intelligence gathering, tracking and tactical operations placed mounting pressure on the kidnappers, ultimately forcing them into a direct confrontation with security personnel.

All three victims were reportedly rescued unharmed.

Security operatives continue to comb the surrounding areas for other members of the kidnapping syndicate who fled during the shootout.

Several of the fugitives are believed to have sustained gunshot wounds, it was further gathered.

No further details have been released regarding the condition of the rescued family, though police have confirmed they are receiving necessary support.
