RECENTLY, I had an encounter with a Gen-Z graduate. She just graduated this year. She needed to send an email and she confessed she didn’t know how to do it.
She didn’t know how to send an email.
I was surprised.
I thought Gen-Z were tech savvy. I didn’t know a Gen-Z graduate could have difficulty with something as basic as sending an email.
I had to put her through the steps of attaching a document to an email.
Afterwards, I told her she needed to do some personal development and upgrading.
How would she tell an employer that she doesn’t know how to send an email or attach a document to an email.
Dear young persons, there are some basic things you must learn.
If you don’t have anyone to put you through, search online. You can watch tutorial videos on YouTube.
You can ask AI to explain how to go about certain processes.
Do not be an educated illiterate.
Work on yourself.
