NNANI Adaobi Marian, a 23-year-old Nigerian graduate who was critically injured in a Russian airstrike on Kharkiv, Ukraine, has reportedly died in Germany.
Marian, a graduate of Kharkiv National Medical University, sustained severe injuries during a guided aerial bomb attack on the city on June 29. She was later transferred to Germany for advanced medical treatment after initially receiving care in Kharkiv.
Despite the efforts of medical teams in both Ukraine and Germany to save her life, she sadly succumbed to her injuries.
Her death comes days after the same attack claimed the life of her friend, Fatima, who was killed at the scene.
